SLOW LORIS

Nycticebus bengalensis, probably the cuddliest of the diverse wildlife of Bangladesh.

A rare specimen of this monkey species, famous for its appealing face, was found this week in one of the remoter areas of the country.(http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesign/news-details.php?nid=150422)

An endangered species, but bound to be of interest to the visitor with particular affection for large eyes and small ears as something to embrace, it is yet another attraction of the natural world, which, despite many difficulties, Bangladesh manages to sustain.
