The mango trees of Rajshahi are in full bloom, promising another bumper crop of the large, sweet and juicy product of the area.

Famous throughout South Asia, Rajshahi rival the produce of other areas of Bangladesh, but are so popular locally, and across the border in India that few find their way onto the international market.

I well kept secret, although the claims of excellence will always still be hotly disputed by other areas of production.

No one, however, who has ever enjoyed this flavoursome experience, is likely to join the dispute. The less said, the more for the knowledgeable to enjoy!
